The Tivoli World theme park is a fantastic evening out for families with children. The park opens at 6pm and the nominal entry charge includes a wristband allowing access to all rides and shows. Entrance to the park is also available though for just a few Euros, without the need to purchase wristbands for rides. Tivoli World may not be able to rival the more well known parks for fairground rides but the enchanting lights' display and grottoes more than make up for this.
There are a number of exciting roller coaster and swing type rides, together with smaller rides and roundabouts for younger children. Tivoli World also offers several entertaining shows and dance acts which children will enjoy. For children, perhaps the best aspect to Tivoli World is the chance to stay up until the early hours and experience a full evening's entertainment as the park does not close until 2am.

Summer temperatures, particularly in August, can be high and reach up to 40C. Furthermore August is traditionally the Spanish holiday season, so the Costa del Sol can be extremely crowded. For these reasons July is probably the better month for a more enjoyable Spanish holiday.
